High frequency switching (up to 2MHz) minimizes the board area by allowing the use of tiny, low profile inductors and ceramic capacitors.
The KB3436 provides automatic pulse skipping at light loads, thus reducing the supply current for extended battery life. At shutdown, the KB3436 fully discharges the output to ground and draws no supply current.
The KB3436 is available in small SOT23-6 package with both fixed and adjustable output voltage versions.

Description
The SC4538 is designed to regulate current for a series string of white LEDs in LCD backlighting applications where small size and high effi ciency are priorities. This device integrates an 800kHz current-mode PWM boost converter and a 30mA programmable low dropout current sink regulator.
An external resistor sets the LED current up to 30mA. PWM dimming (100Hz to 50kHz) may be applied directly to the enable (EN) pin, or dimming can be controlled by applying an analog signal to the ISET circuit. The boost circuit can output up to 38V (guaranteed) to drive up to 10 LEDs in series. The current regulator protects against shorts between the BL and OUT pins and also eliminates backlight glow during shutdown when using LEDs with high leakage. Under-voltage lockout and thermal shutdown provide additional protection. A small external capacitor and series resistor control soft-start and loop compensation. Over-voltage detection protects the SC4538 if the BL pin is fl oating or shorted to ground.
The SC4538 is available in an MLPD-8 pin 2mm x 2mm x 0.6mm package, with a rated temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The SP7606 is a fixed frequency boost controller designed to drive loads up to 38V output voltage. The SP7606 was developed to be used in conjunction with the SP7616 to drive a wide range of led chains that require high anode voltages. The ability to disconnect the output voltage feedback resistors (DD Pin) reduces shutdown current.  The ZXLD1321 is an inductive DC-DC converter, with an internal switch, designed for driving single or multiple LEDs in series up to a total of 1A output current.
Applications cover commercial environments with input voltages ranging from 1.2V to 12V.
The device employs a variable 'on' and 'off' time control scheme with adjustable peak switch current limiting and supports step-up (Boost) mode and self-powering Bootstrap operating modes, offering higher power efficiency and lower system cost than conventional PFM circuitry.
The device includes the DC-DC converter, a high-side current monitor and an NPN switching transistor to provide an integrated solution offering small PCB size, competitive cost/performance, high power efficiency of DC-DC conversion and maximum LED brightness/reliability.
More importantly, it retains design flexibility to add customer specific features.
The feedback control circuitry inside the ZXLD1321 provides excellent load and current regulation, resulting in very stable LED current over the useful life of the battery and over the full operating temperature range.
The LED current can be adjusted from 100% down to 10% of the set value by applying a dc voltage to the ADJ pin and down to 1% by applying a PWM signal to the ADJ pin.
An onchip LED protection circuit also allows output current to be reduced linearly above a predetermined threshold temperature using an external thermistor at the TADJ pin.
External resistors set nominal average LED current and coil peak current independently.
The device can be shut down by applying a continuous low level dc voltage to the ADJ pin.

DESCRIPTION
The kB3440 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, Buck- Boost DC/DC converter that operates from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single lithium-ion, multicell alkaline or NiMH applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range.
The device includes two 0.19ohm N-channel MOSFET switches and two 0.22ohm P-channel switches. Switching frequencies up to 2MHz are programmed with an external resistor and the oscillator can be synchronized to an external clock. Quiescent current is only 40μA in Burst
Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications.
Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. If the MODE/SYNC pin has either a clock or is driven low, then fixed frequency switching is enabled.
Other features include a 1μA shutdown, soft-start control, thermal shutdown and current limit. The kB3440 is available in the 10-pin thermally enhanced MSOP and (3mm 3mm) DFN packages.

General Description
The AS1301 is a 50mA inductorless boost converter using a double H-bridge charge-pump topology with two external flying capacitors.
The AS1301 runs on a 1MHz fixed frequency and is utilized with a low noise regulation scheme to allow usage together with sensitive RF circuitry from the same battery supply.
Designed to reside in portable and space limited equipment the 1MHz charge pump converts a 2.7 to 5.25V input to regulated 5V output with 5% accuracy.
The shutdown function reduces the supply current to 5uA and disconnects the load from the output. The integrated soft-start circuitry prevents current spikes being drawn from the battery during start-up.

General Description
The LM2757 is a constant frequency pre-regulated switchedcapacitor charge pump that operates at 1.25 MHz to produce a low-noise regulated output voltage. The device can be configured to provide up to 100 mA at 4.1V, 110 mA at 4.5V, or 180 mA at 5V. Excellent efficiency is achieved without the use of an inductor by operating the charge pump in a gain of either

 The EV1542DK-00A is the evaluation board for the MP1542, a current mode step-up converter
with a 2A, 0.18Ω internal switch to provide a highly efficient regulator with quick response.
 
 The MP1542 can be operated at 700KHz or 1.3MHz allowing for easy filtering and low noise. An external compensation pin gives the user flexibility in setting loop dynamics, which allows the use of small, low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. The TPS6100x devices are boost converters intended for systems that are typically operated from a single- or dual-cell nickel-cadmium (NiCd), nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), or alkaline battery. The converter output voltage can be adjusted from 1.5 V to a maximum of 3.3 V and provides a minimum output current of 100 mA. The converter starts up into a full load with a supply voltage of 0.9 V and stays in operation with supply voltages as low as 0.8 V.
 The converter is based on a fixed-frequency, current-mode pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controller that goes into power-save mode at low load currents. The current through the switch is limited to a maximum of 1100 mA, depending on the output voltage. The current sense is integrated to further minimize external component count.
 The converter can be disabled to minimize battery drain when the system is put into standby.
A low-EMI mode is implemented to reduce interference and radiated electromagnetic energy that is caused by the ringing of the inductor when the inductor discharge-current decreases to zero. The device is packaged in the space saving 10-pin MSOP package.
