Description
ATA6612/ATA6613 is a System-in-Package (SiP) product, which is particularly suited for complete LIN-bus slave-node applications. It supports highly integrated solutions for in-vehicle LIN networks. The first chip is the LIN-system-basis-chip (LIN-SBC) ATA6624, which has an integrated LIN transceiver, a 5V regulator and a window watchdog. The second chip is an automotive microcontroller from Atmel®’s series of AVR 8-bit microcontroller with advanced RISC architecture.
The ATA6612 consists of the LIN-SBC ATA6624 and the ATmega88 with 8 Kbytes flash. The ATA6613 consists of the LIN-SBC ATA6624 and the ATmega168 with 16 Kbytes flash. All pins of the LIN System Basis Chip as well as all pins of the AVR microcontroller are bonded out to provide customers the same flexibility for their applications as they have when using discrete parts.
In section 2 you will find the pin configuration for the complete SiP. In sections 3 to 5 the LIN SBC is described, and in sections 6 to 7 the AVR is described in detail.

General Description
The MAX6730–MAX6735 single-/dual-/triple-voltage microprocessor (μP) supervisors feature a watchdog timer and manual reset capability. The MAX6730–MAX6735 offer factory-set reset thresholds for monitoring voltages from +0.9V to +5V and an adjustable reset input for monitoring voltages down to +0.63V. The combination of these features significantly improves system reliability and accuracy when compared to separate ICs or discrete components.
The active-low reset output asserts and remains asserted for the reset timeout period after all the monitored voltages exceed their respective thresholds. Multiple factoryset reset threshold combinations reduce the number of external components required. The MAX6730/MAX6731 monitor a single fixed voltage, the MAX6732/MAX6733 monitor two fixed voltages, and the MAX6734/MAX6735 monitor two fixed voltages and one adjustable voltage. All devices are offered with six minimum reset timeout periods ranging from 1.1ms to 1120ms.
The MAX6730–MAX6735 feature a watchdog timer with an independent watchdog output. The watchdog timer prevents system lockup during code execution errors. A watchdog startup delay of 54s after reset asserts allows system initialization during power-up. The watchdog operates in normal mode with a 1.68s delay after initialization. The MAX6730/MAX6732/MAX6734 provide
an active-low, open-drain watchdog output. The MAX6731/MAX6733/MAX6735 provide an active-low, push-pull watchdog output.
Other features include a manual reset input (MAX6730/MAX6731/MAX6734/MAX6735) and push-pull reset output (MAX6731/MAX6733/MAX6735) or open-drain reset output (MAX6730/MAX6732/MAX6734). The MAX6730–MAX6733 are offered in a tiny SOT23-6 package. The MAX6734/MAX6735 are offered in a space-saving SOT23-8 package. All devices are fully specified over the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ADM13305 is a dual voltage supervisor designed to monitor two supplies and provide a reset signal to DSP and microprocessor-based systems.
There are five models available, all of which feature a combination of internally pretrimmed undervoltage threshold options for monitoring 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V supplies. There is also an adjustable input option with an undervoltage threshold voltage of 0.6 V.
The ADM13305-18, ADM13305-25, and ADM13305-33 models have two internally fixed thresholds. The ADM13305-4 and ADM13305-5 offer one internally fixed threshold and one externally programmable threshold via a resistor string. See the Ordering Guide for a list of all available options.
During power-up, RESET is asserted when the supply voltage exceeds 1.1 V. The device then monitors the SENSEv input pins and holds the RESET output low as long as either of the SENSEv inputs remains below the rising threshold voltage, VIT+.
Once the supplies monitored at the SENSEv inputs rise above their associated thresholds, the reset signal remains low for the reset timeout period before deasserting. Subsequently, if a voltage monitored by the SENSEv pins falls below its associ- ated falling threshold, VIT−, the RESET output asserts. The ADM13305 features both an active high RESET and an active low RESET output.
As well as providing power-on reset signals, an on-chip watchdog timer can reset the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within the preset timeout period. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push button through the manual reset input pin.
The ADM13305 is available in an 8-lead, narrow body SOIC package. The device operates over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
