TransDimension’s UHC124 is a four-port, single chip USB Host controller that is the first of a family of integrated low-cost, high-performance controllers optimized and specifically designed for embedded systems, mobile communication, and consumer products. It is a non-PCI controller that supports USB Specification Rev. 2.0 compliant full-speed (12Mb/s) and low-speed (1.5Mb/s) USB devices. It is the only non-PCI controller that has been proven to run at USB full speed, even running under a full USB stack. The UHC124 controller enables an embedded system to function as a USB Host, dramatically expanding the degree of interconnectivity and extending the applicability of USB into many new areas. General Description
The AME8821 family of positive, linear regulators feature low quiescent current (17mA typ.) with low dropout voltage, making them ideal for battery applications. The space-saving SOT-25/TSOT-25 packages are attractive for “Pocket” and “Hand Held”applications.
These rugged devices have both Thermal Shutdown, and Current Limitation to prevent device failure under the “Worst” operating conditions. In application requires a low noise regulated supply. The AME8821 family uses the SR pin to program the output voltage’s slew rate to
control the in-rush current. This is specifically used in the USB application where large load capacitance is present at start-up.
The AME8821 also features a logic-enabled sleep mode to shutdown the regulator, reducing quiescent current to 1mA typical at TA= 25oC.

Product Description
California Micro Devices’ CM1240 is a four channel ESD protection array. Three channels of the CM1240 are low voltage (LV) diodes, which have a capacitance of 7pF enabling them to protect high speed I/O ports while providing robust ESD protection. The other channel of the CM1240 is a high voltage (HV) diode which has a capacitance of 25pF enabling it to protect
power supply inputs or OLED power rails, etc.
The parts integrate avalanche-type ESD diodes, which provide a very high level of protection for sensitive electronic components that may be subjected to electrostatic discharge (ESD). The ESD protection diodes are designed and characterized to safely dissipate ESD strikes of 8kV, the maximum requirement of the IEC61000-4-2 international standard. Using the MIL-STD-883 (Method 3015) specification for Human Body Model (HBM) ESD, the pins are protected for contact discharges of greater than 16kV.
This device is particularly well suited for portable electronics (e.g. wireless handsets, PDAs, notebook computers) because of its small package format and easy-to-use pin assignments. In particular, the CM1240 is ideal for protecting USB or mini USB ports operating at full speed (12Mbps).
The CM1240 is available in a space saving, low profile, lead-free TDFN-8 or SOT-563 package.

AD62550A is a single chip of Class-D audio amplifier with USB/I2S interface. When using the power supplied from the USB port, AD62550A can drive a pair of up to 1W speakers due to the built-in, high efficiency and high performance class D amplifiers. The device also has an I2S input port and I2S output port. The I2S input port allows other external audio sources to use the class D amplifier to share the speakers. The I2S output port allows other high performance audio device (i.e. AD8356A/AD8256A) to be controlled by AD62550A.

The ADG772 is a low voltage, CMOS device that contains two independently selectable single-pole, double throw (SPDT) switches. It is designed as a general-purpose switch and can be used for routing both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 signals.
This device offers a data rate of 1260 Mbps, making the part suitable for high frequency data switching. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on and has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The ADG772 exhibits break-before-make switching action.
The ADG772 comes in a 12-lead LFCSP, and a 10-lead mini LFCSP. These packages make the ADG772 the ideal solution for space-constrained applications.

Functional Overview
The GL620USB provides a single-chip solution for connecting two or more PCs via their USB ports. According to USB protocol, the PC is the host and the device is a slave, where the host initiates all the USB traffic and the slave responds to the host’s requests. In other words, a host cannot talk to another host via USB protocol; instead, a host can only talk to one or more devices. The GL620USB’s patent-pending architecture overcomes the USB inherently incompatibility of connecting two or more PCs by providing two independent USB transceivers and SIEs for each host, i.e., data can be transferred in both directions simultaneously.
