The EP1551 is a small, high efficiency, five-channel, power-supply for digital still and video cameras. It consists of:
*Step-up DC-DC converter with on-chip power MOSFETs for 3.3V main system supply with up to 95% efficiency. It accepts inputs from 0.7V to 5.5V and regulates a resistor-adjustable output from 2.7V to 5.5V.
*Step-down main DC-DC converter with on-chip power MOSFETs for 1.5V DSP core supply with up to 92% efficiency. It can operate from the Step-up main system supply providing buck-boost capability with up to 90% compound efficiency, or it can run directly from battery if buck-boost operation is not needed.
*PWM controller with external FET for Step-up DC-DC converter for 5V motor actuator
*PWM controller with external FET for 15V LCD supply
*PWM controller with external FET and transformer for –7.5V and +15V CCD Bias
All DC-DC channels operate at one fixed frequency settable from 100KHz to 1MHz to optimize size, cost and efficiency. Other features include soft-start, power-OK outputs, and overload protection. The Gamewell-FCI Power Supply 9 (GFPS-9) panel provides two (2) Class A, Style Z, or four (4) Class B, Style Y notification appliance circuits. Each circuit is rated at 3 amperes, with a total capacity of 9 amperes per panel. These circuits may be programmed to activate by groups or various combinations by connection to one (1) or two (2) existing Class A or B notification appliance circuits with operating voltages ranging from 9 to 30 VDC. Either noncoded or coded operation is possible. In addition, the GFPS-9 can provide a temporal pattern output from a noncoded input.
A unique feature allows for programmable synchronizedoutputs for strobes by three (3) different major manufacturers, System Sensor, Faraday, or Gentex.
The GFPS-9 contains its own battery charger capable of maintaining batteries of up to 33 AH. The cabinet provides space for a set of 7 A/H batteries. It is supervised for ground fault, over-current, open circuits and low battery conditions. These conditions light the appropriate trouble
LED and automatically open the notification appliance circuit used for activation, transmitting a trouble signal to the main fire alarm control panel. The ground fault detection circuit may be disabled.
The unit contains a set of dry, Form “C” trouble actuated auxiliary contacts, rated 2.5 amp. @ 24 VDC (resistive). Transfer of these contacts for AC power failure is programmable and can be delayed for a period of six (6) hours. This delay feature may be disabled.
A power limited, non-resettable auxiliary power output up to three (3) amperes is also available. The panel can be programmed via DIP switch to disconnect this output from the
batteries 30 seconds after AC power failure, in order to avoid running down the batteries from current devices such as door holders, etc.

General Description
The AAT4672 SmartSwitch™ is a member of AnalogicTech’s Application Specific Power Management IC™ family.
This device is a dual input, single output power supply selector switch, designed to operate from USB ports, AC adapter inputs, batteries, or any other power supply with an input voltage up to 6V.
The AAT4672 connects the supply on the MAIN pin to the OUT pin through a very low on-resistance power MOSFET when the device is enabled, the MAIN pin voltage is higher than the under voltage lockout (UVLO) threshold, and MAIN pin voltage is greater than the AUX pin voltage plus 200mV.
The AUX pin connects to the OUT pin only when the MAIN pin voltage drops 0.2V below the AUX pin voltage and the AUX pin voltage is greater than the UVLO threshold.
If both input supplies (MAIN/AUX) are below the UVLO threshold, then the OUT pin floats.
The two internal power switches are current limited and the thresholds can be programmed through resistors on the IMAIN and IAUX pins respectively.
A power level selection pin, PWRSEL, is provided to toggle the AUX current limit between 100% and 20% of the current limit setting programmed by the resistor on the IAUX pin.
This is particularly useful for USB applications where the power supply can be powered by either a 500mA or a 100mA USB port.
The AAT4672 is available in a thermally enhanced, space-saving, Pb-free 12-pin TSOPJW package and is specified for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

The OPA2830 is a dual, low-power, single-supply, wideband, voltage-feedback amplifier designed to operate on a single +3V or +5V supply. Operation on ±5V or +10V supplies is also supported. The input range extends below ground and to within 1.8V of the positive supply. Using complementary common-emitter outputs provides an output swing to within 25mV of ground and +VS while driving 150W.
High output drive current (75mA) and low differential gain and phase errors also make it ideal for single-supply consumer video products.
Low distortion operation is ensured by the high gain bandwidth product (100MHz) and slew rate (500V/μs), making the OPA2830 an ideal input buffer stage to 3V and 5V CMOS Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs). Unlike earlier low-power, single-supply amplifiers, distortion performance improves as the signal swing is decreased. A low 9.2nV/ÖHz input voltage noise supports wide dynamic range operation.
The OPA2830 is available in an industry-standard SO-8 package. The OPA2830 is also available in a small MSOP-8 package. For fixed-gain and line driver applications, consider the OPA2832.

 The DG469/470 are high voltage SPDT switches, with a typical on resistance of 3.6 Ω and typical flatness of 0.4 Ω.
The DG469 and DG470 are identical, except the DG470 provides an enable input.
When the enable input is activated, both sides of the switch are in a high impedance mode (Off), maintaining a "Safe State" at power up.
This function can also be used as a quick "disconnect" in the event of a fault condition.
For audio switching, the enable pin provides a mute function.

The Intersil ISL84467 device is a low ON-resistance, low voltage, bidirectional, Quad SPDT (Dual DPDT) analog switch designed to operate from a single +1.65V to +4.5V supply.
Targeted applications include battery powered equipment that benefit from low rON (0.39Ω) and fast switching speeds (tON = 33ns, tOFF = 16ns).
The digital logic input is 1.8V logic-compatible when using a single +3V supply.
With a supply voltage of 4.2V and logic high voltage of 2.85V at both logic inputs, the part draws only 12μA max of ICC current.
Cell phones, for example, often face ASIC functionality limitations.
The number of analog input or GPIO pins may be limited and digital geometries are not well suited to analog switch performance.

General Description
The AAT4674/4674-1 are members of Analogic - Tech’s Application Specific Power Management SmartSwitch™ family.
These devices are dual input single output power supply selector switches designed to operate from batteries, or any other power supply with an input voltage up to 6V.
The AAT4674/4674-1 connects the supply voltage on IN1 to OUT, or IN2 to OUT, through a very low RDS(ON) power MOSFET that minimizes voltage drops and power dissipation. The enable (EN) and select (SEL) pin voltages control the operational state of the internal power MOSFET switches.
Once enabled, the SEL pin will switch between the IN1 and IN2 inputs. If both input voltages are below the UVLO, then the AAT4674 output floats. In the case of the AAT4674-1, if one of the input voltages is above the UVLO threshold then that input voltage that is above the UVLO threshold is passed through to the output.
The two power switches are current limited and the current limit thresholds can be programmed through the resistors on IIN1 and IIN2 pins respectively.
The AAT4674/4674-1 are available in thermally enhanced, space-saving Pb-free 12-pin TSOPJW packages. The AAT4674/4674-1 are specified for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
