Description
The IMP811/IMP812 are low-power supervisors designed to monitor voltage levels of 3.0V, 3.3V and 5.0V power supplies in low-power microprocessor (μP), microcontroller (μC) and digital systems. Each features a debounced manual reset input. The IMP811/812 are improved drop-in replacements for the Maxim MAX811/812 with extended temperature specifications to 105°C.
A reset signal is issued if the power supply voltage drops below a preset threshold and is asserted for at least 140ms after the supply has risen above the reset threshold. The IMP811 has an active-low output RESET that is guaranteed to be in the correct state for VCC down to 1.1V. The IMP812 has an active-high output RESET. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC .
Low power consumption makes the IMP811/IMP812 ideal for use in portable and battery-operated equipment. Available in a compact 4-pin SOT143 package, the devices use minimal board space.

General Description
The ASM705 / 706 / 707 / 708 and AS813L are cost effective CMOS supervisor circuits that monitor power-supply and battery voltage level, and μP/μC operation.
The family offers several functional options. Each device generates a reset signal during power-up, power-down and during brownout conditions. A reset is generated when the supply drops below 4.65V (ASM705/707/813L) or 4.40V (ASM706/708). For 3V power supply applications, refer to the ASM705P/R/S/T data sheet. In addition, the ASM705/706/813L feature a 1.6 second watchdog timer. The ASM707/708 have both active-HIGH and active-LOW reset outputs but no watchdog function. The ASM813L has the same pin-out and functions as the ASM705 but has an active-HIGH reset output. A versatile power-fail circuit has a 1.25V threshold, useful in low battery detection and for monitoring non-5V supplies. All devices have a manual reset (MR) input. The watchdog timer output will trigger a reset if connected to MR.
All devices are available in 8-pin DIP, SO and MicroSO packages.

General Description
The ASM706P/R/S/T/J and ASM708R/S/T/J are cost effective CMOS supervisor circuits that monitor power-supply and battery voltage level, and μP/μC operation.

A reset is generated when the supply drops below 2.63V (ASM706P/R, ASM708R), 2.93V (ASM706S, ASM708S), 3.08V (ASM706T, ASM708T) or 4.00 (ASM706J, ASM708J). In addition, the ASM706P/R/S/T/J feature a 1.6 second watchdog timer. The watchdog timer output will trigger a reset if connected to MR. Floating the WDI input pin disables the watchdog timer.
The ASM708R/S/T/J have both active-HIGH and active-LOW reset outputs but no watchdog function. The ASM706P has the same pin-out and functions as the ASM706R but has an active-
HIGH reset output.
A versatile power-fail circuit, useful in checking battery levels and non-5V supplies, has a 1.25V threshold. All devices have a manual reset input. Lattice’s Power Manager II ispPAC-POWR1014/A is general-purpose power-supply monitor and sequence controller, incorporating both in-system programmable logic and in-system programmable analog functions implemented in non-volatile E2CMOS® technology. The
ispPAC-POWR1014/A device provides 10 independent analog input channels to monitor up to 10 power supply test points. Each of these input channels has two independently programmable comparators to support both high/low and in-bounds/out-of-bounds (window-compare)
monitor functions. Four general-purpose digital inputs are also provided for miscellaneous control functions.
The ispPAC-POWR1014/A provides 14 open-drain digital outputs that can be used for controlling DC-DC converters, low-drop-out regulators (LDOs) and optocouplers, as well as for supervisory and general-purpose logic interface functions. Two of these outputs HVOUT1-HVOUT2) may be configured as high-voltage MOSFET drivers. In high-voltage mode these outputs can provide up to 10V for driving the gates of n-channel MOSFETs so that they can be used as high-side power switches controlling the supplies with a programmable ramp rate for both ramp up and ramp down.
The ispPAC-POWR1014/A incorporates a 24-macrocell CPLD that can be used to implement complex state machine sequencing for the control of multiple power supplies as well as combinatorial logic functions. The status of all of the comparators on the analog input channels as well as the general purpose digital inputs are used as inputs by the CPLD array, and all digital outputs may be controlled by the CPLD. Four independently programmable timers can create delays and time-outs ranging from 32μs to 2 seconds. The CPLD is programmed using Logi-Builder™, an easy-to-learn language integrated into the PAC-Designer® software. Control sequences are written to monitor the status of any of the analog input channel comparators or the digital inputs.
The on-chip 10-bit A/D converter is used to monitor the VMON voltage through the I2C bus of the ispPACPOWR1014A device.
The I2C bus/SMBus interface allows an external microcontroller to measure the voltages connected to the VMON inputs, read back the status of each of the VMON comparator and PLD outputs, control logic signals IN2 to IN4 and control the output pins (ispPAC-POWR1014A only).

DESCRIPTION
The TL7700A series are monolithic integrated circuit supply voltage supervisors specifically designed for use as reset controllers in microcomputer and microprocessor systems. During power-up the device tests the supply voltage and keeps the RESET and RESET outputs active (high and low, respectively) as long as the supply voltage has not reached its nominal voltage value.
