Description
The EP3102 is a monolithic integrated circuit that provide all the active functions for a step-down switching regulator, capable of driving a 2A load without additional transistor component. Requiring a minimum number of external component, the board space can be saved easily. The external shutdown function can be controlled by TTL logic level and then come into standby mode. The internal compensation makes feedback control have good line and load regulation without external design. Regarding protected function, thermal shutdown is to prevent over temperature operating from damage, and current limit is against over current operating of the output switch. The EP3102 operates at a switching frequency of 150KHz thus allowing smaller sized filter components than what would be needed with lower frequency switching regulators. Other features include a guaranteed +4% tolerance on output voltage under specified input voltage and output load conditions, and +15% on the oscillator frequency. The output version included fixed 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and an adjustable type. The package is available in a standard 8-lead SOP8.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ACT4012A is a current-mode step-down DC/DC converter that generates up to 1.5A output 420kHz switching frequency. The device utilizes Active-Semi’s proprietary ISOBCD20 process for operation with input voltages up to 20V.
Consuming only 10μA in shutdown mode, the ACT4012A is highly efficient with peak efficiency at 94% when in operation. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown, and frequency foldback at short circuit.
The ACT4012A is available in a SOP-8 package and requires very few external devices for operation.

DESCRIPTION
The MP2364 is a dual monolithic step-down switch mode converter with built-in internal power MOSFETs. It achieves 1.5A continuous output current for each output over a wide input supply range with excellent load and line regulation.
Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization.
Fault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. In shutdown mode, the regulator draws 40μA of supply current.
The MP2364 requires a minimum number of readily available standard external components.

DESCRIPTION
The MP2307 is a monolithic synchronous buck regulator. The device integrates 100mΩ MOSFETS that provide 3A of continuous load current over a wide operating input voltage of 4.75V to 23V. Current mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limit.
An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current at turn-on and in shutdown mode, the supply current drops below 1μA.
This device, available in an 8-pin SOIC package, provides a very compact system solution with minimal reliance on external components.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CM3706 is a 1.5MHz constant frequency, slope compensated current mode PWM step-down converter. The device integrates a main switch and a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency without an external Schottky diode. It is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell lithium-Ion (Li+) battery. The CM3706 can supply 600mA of load current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage. The output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.6V. The CM3706 can also run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable system. Idle mode operation at light loads provides very low output ripple voltage for noise sensitive applications.
The CM3706 is offered in a low profile (1mm) 5-pin, thin TSOT package, and is available in an adjustable version.

The MIK2576 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits that provide all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator, capable of driving 3A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and an adjustable output versions. Requiring a minimum number of external components, these regulators are simple to use and include internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. The MIK2576 series offers a high-efficiency replacement for popular three-terminal linear regulators. It substantially reduces the size of the heat sink, and in some cases no heat sink is required. A standard series of inductors optimized for use with the MIK2576 are available from several different manufacturers. This feature greatly simplifies the design of switch-mode power supplies. Other features include a guaranteed ± 4% tolerance on output voltage within specified input voltages and output load conditions, and ±10% on the oscillator frequency. External shutdown is included, featuring 50μA (typical) standby current. The output switch includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, as well as thermal shutdown for full protection under fault conditions.
Note: The MIK2576HV is not produced yet.

General Description
AP1513 consists of step-down switching regulator with PWM control. These devices include a reference voltage source, oscillation circuit, error amplifier, internal PMOS and etc.
AP1513 provides low-ripple power, high efficiency, and excellent transient characteristics. The PWM control circuit is able to vary the duty ratio linearly from 0 up to 100%. This converter also contains an error amplifier circuit as well as a soft-start circuit that prevents overshoot at startup. An enable function, an over current protect function and a short circuit protect function are built inside, and when OCP or SCP happens, the operation frequency will be reduced from 300KHz to 30KHz. Also, an internal compensation block is built in to minimum external component count.
With the addition of an internal P-channel Power MOS, a coil, capacitors, and a diode connected externally, these ICs can function as step-down switching regulators. They serve as ideal power supply units for portable devices when coupled with the SOP–8L mini-package, providing such outstanding features as low current consumption. Since this converter can accommodate an input voltage up to 18V, it is also suitable for the operation via an AC adapter.

General Description
The AAT2153 SwitchReg is a 2.5A step-down converter with an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and an adjustable output voltage from 0.6V to VIN. The 1.4MHz switching frequency enables the use of small external components. The small footprint and high efficiency make the AAT2153 an ideal choice for portable applications.
