General Description
The AMIS-42671 CAN transceiver with autobaud is the interface between a controller area network (CAN) protocol controller and the physical bus. It may be used in both 12V and 24V systems. The transceiver provides differential transmit capability to the bus and differential receive capability to the CAN controller. Due to the wide common-mode voltage range of the receiver inputs, the AMIS-42671 is able to reach outstanding levels of electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS). Similarly, extremely low electromagnetic emission (EME) is achieved by the excellent matching of the output signals.
The AMIS-42671 is primarily intended for industrial network applications where long network lengths are mandatory. Examples are elevators, in-building networks, process control and trains. To cope with the long bus delay the communication speed needs to be low. AMIS-42671 allows low transmit data rates down 10 Kbit/s or lower. The autobaud function allows the CAN controller to determine the incoming baud rate without influencing the CAN communication on the bus.

DESCRIPTION
The P4C164 is a 65,536-bit ultra high-speed static RAM organized as 8K x 8. The CMOS memory requires no clocks or refreshing and has equal access and cycle times. Inputs are fully TTL-compatible. The RAM operates from a single 5V±10% tolerance power supply. With
battery backup, data integrity is maintained with supply voltages down to 2.0V. Current drain is typically 10 μA from a 2.0V supply.
Access times as fast as 8 nanoseconds are available,
permitting greatly enhanced system operating speeds.
The P4C164 is available in 28-pin 300 mil DIP and SOJ, 28- pin 600 mil plastic and ceramic DIP, 28-pin 350 x 550 mil LCC, 32-pin 450 x 550 mil LCC, and 28-pin CERPACK.
The 70ns and 100ns P4C164s are available in the 600 mil plastic DIP.

General Description
The MAX3080E–MAX3089E are ±15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD)-protected, high-speed transceivers for RS- 485/RS-422 communication that contain one driver and one receiver. These devices feature fail-safe circuitry, which guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. This means that the receiver output will be a logic high if all transmitters on a terminated bus are disabled (high impedance).
 
 The MAX3080E/MAX3081E/MAX3082E feature reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission up to 115kbps. The MAX3083E/MAX3084E/MAX3085E offer higher driver output slew-rate limits, allowing transmit speeds up to 500kbps. The MAX3086E/MAX3087E/ MAX3088Es’ driver slew rates are not limited, making transmit speeds up to 10Mbps possible. The MAX3089E’s slew rate is selectable between 115kbps, 500kbps, and 10Mbps by driving a selector pin with a single three-state driver. All devices feature enhanced ESD protection. All transmitter outputs and receiver inputs are protected to ±15kV using the Human Body Model.
 These transceivers typically draw 375µA of supply current when unloaded, or when fully loaded with the drivers disabled.

 All devices have a 1/8-unit-load receiver input impedance that allows up to 256 transceivers on the bus. The MAX3082E/MAX3085E/MAX3088E are intended for halfduplex communications, while the MAX3080E/MAX3081E/ MAX3083E/MAX3084E/MAX3086E/MAX3087E are intended for full-duplex communications. The MAX3089E is selectable between half-duplex and full-duplex operation. It also features independently programmable receiver and transmitter output phase via separate pins.

Description
 The 6N137, HCPL-2601/2611 single-channel and HCPL-2630/ 2631 dual-channel optocouplers consist of a 850 nm AlGaAS LED, optically coupled to a very high speed integrated photodetector logic gate with a strobable output. This output features an open collector, thereby permitting wired OR outputs. The coupled parameters are guaranteed over the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. A maximum input signal of 5 mA will provide a minimum output sink current of 13mA (fan out of 8).
 An internal noise shield provides superior common mode rejection of typically 10kV/µs. The HCPL- 2601 and HCPL- 2631 has a minimum CMR of 5 kV/µs. The HCPL-2611 has a minimum
CMR of 10 kV/µs.

DESCRIPTION
 The DAC08 series of 8-bit monolithic multiplying Digital-to-Analog Converters provide very high-speed performance coupled with low cost and outstanding applications flexibility.
 Advanced circuit design achieves 70ns settling times with very low glitch and at low power consumption. Monotonic multiplying performance is attained over a wide 20-to-1 reference current range. Matching to within 1 LSB between reference and full-scale currents eliminates the need for full-scale trimming in most applications. Direct interface to all popular logic families with full noise immunity is provided by the high swing, adjustable threshold logic inputs.
 Dual complementary outputs are provided, increasing versatility and enabling differential operation to effectively double the peak-to-peak output swing. True high voltage compliance outputs allow direct output voltage conversion and eliminate output op amps in many
applications.
 All DAC08 series models guarantee full 8-bit monotonicity and linearities as tight as 0.1% over the entire operating temperature range. Device performance is essentially unchanged over the ±4.5V to ±18V power supply range, with 37mW power consumption attainable at ±5V supplies.
