General Description
The AME41-ADJ is a micropower 3-terminal band-gap voltage regulator diode with a user adjustable output voltage. It operates over a 30mA to 20mA current range. Each circuit is trimmed at wafer sort to provide a ±0.50% initial tolerance. The design of the AME41-ADJ allows for a large range of load capacitances and operating currents. The low start-up current makes these parts ideal for battery applications.
AME offers this part in a TO-92 and SOP-8 packages as well as the space saving SOT-23.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AMS3100-2.5 are two-terminal micropower band-gap voltage reference that feature a very low dynamic impedance and good temperature coefficient, operating over a 20μA to 20mA current range. AMS3100-2.5 is trimmed at wafer test level to optimize the temperature coefficient and tight output voltage tolerance. The advanced process technology used, makes the AMS3100-2.5 exceptionally tolerant of capacitive loading, making it easy to use in almost any reference application. The wide dynamic operating range allows its use with widely varying supplies with excellent regulation. The extremely low power drain, makes these reference diodes useful for micropower circuitry. These voltage references can be used to make portable meters, regulators or general purpose analog circuitry with battery life approaching shelf life. Further more, the wide operating current allows it to replace older references with a tight tolerance part. Pin to pin compatible with other standard industry references, the AMS3100-2.5 offers the advantage of long term stability at low cost.
The AMS3100-2.5 is operating over a -40°C to 85°C temperature range and is available in the space saving SOT-23 package.

Description
The RD7 reference design board is an example of a very low cost production worthy DC input standby power supply design using the TOPSwitch-II family of Three-terminal Off-line PWM switchers. The reference design board is intended to help TOPSwitch-II users quickly develop their products. It provides a basic design that can be easily modified to fit a particular application. The RD7 operates from a rectified and filtered AC mains voltage and provides 3.5 W output at 5 V. Features such as a 12 V non-isolated output or tighter output voltage tolerance may be implemented by changing only a few components.

DESCRIPTION
The REF50xx is a family of low-noise, low-drift, very high precision voltage references. These references are capable of both sinking and sourcing, and are very robust with regard to line and load changes.

The CS1009 is a precision trimmed 2.5 V ±5.0 mV shunt regulator diode. The low dynamic impedance and wide operating current range enhances its versatility. The tight reference tolerance is achieved by on–chip trimming which minimizes voltage tolerance and temperature drift.
A third terminal allows the reference voltage to be adjusted ±5.0% to calibrate out system errors. In many applications, the CS1009GZ can be used as a pin–to–pin replacement of the LT1009CZ and the LM136Z–2.5 with the external trim network eliminated.

Description
The CRD44600-PH-FB PWM Amplifier demonstrates the CS44600, Cirrus’ multi-channel pure digital PWM controller. This reference design implements a twochannel amplifier which delivers 100 W per full-bridge channel into 8 Ω loads using a single +50 V supply (at 1% THD+N). A 155 W unregulated linear power supply is used to power the CRD44600-PH-FB.
As shown below, the CS44600 IC takes two stereo digital audio PCM inputs and converts them to PWM outputs. This 64-pin LQFP PWM controller provides an integrated sample rate converter for 32 kHz-192 kHz input sample rate support, volume up/down, speaker load compensation, peak limiting to prevent amplifier clipping, power supply ripple compensation, and AM frequency interference elimination.
This reference design uses the the Philips TDA8939, an integrated power stage back end for digital amplifiers (two TDA8939 parts configured as full-bridges are used for this two-channel design). Current limiting and thermal protection are provided by the TDA8939.
The inductor/capacitor 2nd order low pass filter (LPF) removes high frequency components from the output signal effectively converting it from digital to analog.
