General Description
The RT9247 is a multi-phase buck DC/DC controller integrated with all control functions for GHz CPU VRM. The RT9247 controls 2 or 3 buck switching stages operating in interleaved phase set automatically. The multi-phase architecture provides high output current while maintaining low power dissipation on power devices and low stress on input and output capacitors. The high equivalent operating frequency also reduces the component dimension and the output voltage ripple in load transient.
RT9247 controls both voltage and current loops to achieve good regulation, response & power stage thermal balance. Precise current loop using RDS(ON) as sense component builds precise load line for strict VRM DC & transient specification and also ensures thermal balance of different power stages. The settings of current sense, droop tuning, VCORE initial offset and over current protection are independent to compensation circuit of voltage loop. The feature greatly facilitates the flexibility of CPU power supply design and tuning.
The DAC output of RT9247 supports VRD10 by 6-bit VID input, precise initial value & smooth VCORE transient at VID jump. The IC monitors the VCORE voltage for PGOOD and over-voltage protection. Soft-start, over-current protection and programmable under-voltage lockout are also provided to assure the safety of microprocessor and power system.

The HV-2405E is a single chip off line power supply that converts world wide AC line voltages to a regulated DC voltage. The output voltage is adjustable from 5VDC to 24VDC with an output current of up to 50mA. The HV-2405E can operate from input voltages between 15Vrms and 275Vrms as well as input frequencies between 47Hz to 200Hz (see Table 1 in section titled “Minimum Input Voltage vs Output Current” for details).
The wide input voltage range makes the HV-2405E an excellent choice for use in equipment which is required to operate from either 240V or 120V. Unlike competitive AC-DC convertors, the HV-2405E can use the same external components for operation from either voltage. This flexibility in input voltage, as well as frequency, enables a single design for a world wide supply.
The HV-2405E has a safety feature that monitors the incoming AC line for large dv/dt (i.e. random noise spikes on AC line, initial power applied at or near peak line voltage). This inhibit function protects the HV-2405E, and subsequent circuitry, by turning off the HV-2405E during large dv/dt transients. This feature is utilized to ensure operation within the SOA (Safe Operating Area) of the HV-2405E.
The HV-2405E can be configured to work directly from an electrical outlet (see Figure 1) or imbedded in a larger system (see Figure 7). Both application circuits have components that will vary based on input voltage, output current and output voltage. It is important to understand these values prior to beginning your design.

The 34716 is a highly integrated, space-efficient, low cost, dual synchronous buck switching regulator with integrated N-channel power MOSFETs. It is a high performance point-of-load (PoL) power supply with its second output having the ability to track an external reference voltage. it provides a full power supply solution for Double-Data-Rate (DDR) Memories.
Channel one provides a source only, 5.0 A drive capability, while channel two can sink and source up to 3.0 A. Both channels are highly efficient with tight output regulation. With its high current drive capability, channel one can be used to supply the VDDQ to the memory chipset. AIC1533, composed of dual charge pumps and a regulator, provide three independent regulated
voltages designed for using in thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD).
The main regulator has an adjustable output voltage and a low dropout voltage of 500mV at
300mA load current is performed.
The dual charge pumps independently regulate a positive output and a negative output. AIC1533
has thermal shutdown capability and survives a continuous short circuit from output to ground.
A unique control scheme minimizes output ripple as well as output capacitance for both charge pump.
