The MC13028A is a third generation C–QUAM stereo decoder targeted for use in low voltage, low cost AM/FM E.T.R. radio applications. Advanced features include a signal quality detector that analyzes signal strength, signal to noise ratio, and stereo pilot tone before switching to the stereo mode. A “blend function” much like FM stereo has been added to improve the transition from mono to stereo. The audio output level is adjustable to allow easy interface with a variety of AM/FM tuner chips. The external components have been minimized to keep the total system cost low.

A range of miniature single in line (SIL) hybrid modules providing complete four channel Radio Receiver/Decoder systems available in either AM or FM. When used with the 110-AM or 120-FM series pocket keyfobs a complete remote telemetry system is obtained with up to 150 metres range.

This is a Call Waiting decoder used on the telephone. Call Waiting service works by alerting a customer engaged in a telephone call to a new incoming call. Thus, the customer can still receive important calls while engaged in a current call. The Call Waiting decoder can detect dual-tone (2130Hz and 2750Hz) alert tone and generate a valid timing on the data pins for micro controller.

General Description
Encoders and decoders are used for physical layer coding for Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and other applications. The 8b/10b encoder takes byte inputs, and generates a direct current (DC) balanced stream (equal number of 1s and 0s) with a maximum run length of 5. Some of the
individual 10-bit codes will have an equal number of 1s and 0s, while others will have either four 1s and six 0s, or, six 1s and four 0s. In the latter case, the disparity between 1s and 0s is used as an input to the next 10-bit code generation, so that the disparity can be reversed, and maintain an overall balanced stream. For this reason, some 8-bit inputs have two valid 10-bit codes, depending on the input disparity.

The XR-2211 is a monolithic phase-locked loop (PLL) system especially designed for data communications applications.
It is particularly suited for FSK modem applications.
It operates over a wide supply voltage range of 4.5 to 20V and a wide frequency range of 0.01Hz to 300kHz.
It can accommodate analog signals between 10mV and 3V, and can interface with conventional DTL, TTL, and ECL logic families.

 The 3D7522 product family consists of monolithic CMOS Manchester Decoders.
The unit accepts at the RX input a bi-phase-level, embedded-clock signal.
In this encoding mode, a logic one is represented by a high-to-low transition within the bit cell, while a logic zero is represented by a low-to-high transition.
The recovered clock and data signals are presented on CLK and DATB, respectively, with the data signal inverted.
The operating baud rate (in MBaud) is specified by the dash number.
The input baud rate may vary by as much as ±15% from the nominal device baud rate without compromising the integrity of the information received.
Because the 3D7522 is not PLL-based, it does not require a long preamble in order to lock onto the received signal.
Rather, the device requires at most one bit cell before the data presented at the output is valid.
This is extremely useful in cases where the information arrives in bursts and the input is otherwise turned off.
The all-CMOS 3D7522 integrated circuit has been designed as a reliable, economic alternative to hybrid TTL Manchester Decoders.

General Description
The CD4511BC BCD-to-seven segment latch/decoder/driver is constructed with complementary MOS (CMOS) enhancement mode devices and NPN bipolar output drivers in a single monolithic structure. The circuit provides the functions of a 4-bit storage latch, an 8421 BCD-to-seven segment decoder, and an output drive capability. Lamp test (LT), blanking (BI), and latch enable (LE) inputs are used to test the display, to turn-off or pulse modulate the brightness of the display, and to store a BCD code, respectively. It can be used with seven-segment light emitting diodes (LED), incandescent, fluorescent, gas discharge, or liquid crystal readouts either directly or indirectly.
