DESCRIPTION
The LTC®3443 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, buckboost DC/DC converter that operates from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The part is pin for pin compatible with its predecessor, the LTC3441, with a lower operating frequency (600kHz), and a VC pin clamp circuit during Burst Mode operation. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single Lithium Ion or multicell applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range.
The device includes two 0.10Ω N-channel MOSFET switches and two 0.11Ω P-channel switches. External Schottky diodes are optional, and can be used for a moderate efficiency improvement. The operating frequency is internally set to 600kHz and can be synchronized up to 1.2MHz. Quiescent current is only 28μA in Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications.
Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. If the MODE/ SYNC pin is driven low or with a clock, then fixed frequency switching is enabled.
Other features include a 1μA shutdown, soft-start control, thermal shutdown and current limit. The LTC3443 is available in a thermally enhanced 12-lead (4mm × 3mm) DFN Package.

Product Description
The MBI6650 is a high efficiency, constant current, step-down DC/DC converter, designed to deliver constant current to high power LED with only 4 external components. The MBI6650 is specifically designed with hysteretic PFM control scheme to enhance the efficiency up to 93%. Output current of the MBI6650 can be programmed by an external resistor, and LED dimming can be controlled via pulse width modulation (PWM) through DIM pin. In addition, the embedded soft start function eliminates the inrush current while the power is on. The MBI6650 also features under voltage lock out (UVLO), over temperature protection, LED open-circuit protection and LED short-circuit protection to protect IC from being damaged.
Additionally, to ensure the system reliability, the MBI6650 is built with the thermal protection (TP) function and a thermal pad. The TP function protects IC from over temperature (140°C). Also, the thermal pad enhances the power dissipation. As a result, a large amount of current can be handled safely in one package.

DESCRIPTION
The AIC1639 is a high efficiency step-up DC/DC converter for applications using 1 to 4 battery cells.
Only three external components are required to deliver a fixed output voltage of 2.7, 3.0V, 3.3V, or 5V.
The AIC1639 starts up from below 0.9V input with 1mA load. Pulse Frequency Modulation scheme brings optimized performance for applications with light output loading and low input voltages. The output ripple and noise are lower compared with the circuits operating in PSM mode.
The PFM control circuit operating in 100KHz (max.) switching rate results in smaller passive components.

DESCRIPTION
The LTC®3426 step-up switching regulator generates an output voltage of up to 5.5V from an input voltage as low as 1.6V. Ideal for applications where space is limited, it switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost and low profile external components. General Description
The AAT1162 is an 800kHz high efficiency stepdown DC/DC converter. With a wide input voltage range of 4.0V to 13.2V, the AAT1162 is an ideal choice for dual-cell Lithium-ion battery-powered devices and mid-power-range regulated 12V-powered industrial applications. The internal power switches are capable of delivering up to 1.5A to the load.
The AAT1162 is a highly integrated device, simplifying system-level design. Minimum external components are required for the converter.
The AAT1162 optimizes efficiency throughout the entire load range. It operates in a combination

Description
The FAN5350 is a step-down switching voltage regulator that delivers a fixed 1.82V from an input voltage supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. Using a proprietary architecture with synchronous rectification, the FAN5350 is capable of delivering 600mA at over 90% efficiency, while maintaining a very high efficiency of over 80% at load currents as low as 1mA. The regulator operates at a nominal fixed frequency of 3MHz at full load, which reduces the value of the external components to 1μH for the output inductor and 4.7μF for the output capacitor.
At moderate and light loads, pulse frequency modulation is used to operate the device in power-save mode with a typical quiescent current of 16μA. Even with such a low quiescent current, the part exhibits excellent transient response during large load swings. At higher loads, the system automatically switches to fixed-frequency control, operating at 3MHz. In shutdown mode, the supply current drops below 1μA, reducing power consumption.
The FAN5350 is available in a 6-lead Molded Leadless Package (MLP) and a 5-bump Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP).

These converters are available in a range of output voltages from 0.8 Vdc to 5.5 Vdc. It is packaged in a compact, overmolded package rated at 8 A. Optional lead forming provides a vertical mount product for minimal footprint or a surface mount option for a very low profile.
