DESCRIPTION
The WM8720 is a high performance stereo DAC designed for audio applications such as CD, DVD, home theatre systems, set top boxes and digital TV. The WM8720 supports data input word lengths from 16 to 24-bits and sampling rates up to 96kHz. The WM8720 consists of a serial interface port, digital interpolation filter, multi-bit sigma delta modulator and stereo DAC in a small 20-pin SSOP package. The WM8720 also includes a digitally controllable mute and attenuator function on each channel.
The WM8720 supports a variety of connection schemes for audio DAC control. The SPI-compatible serial control port provides access to a wide range of features including onchip mute, attenuation and phase reversal. A hardware controllable interface is also available.
The programmable data input port supports a variety of glueless interfaces to popular DSPs, audio decoders and S/PDIF and AES/EBU receivers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AD7804/AD7808 are quad/octal 10-bit digital-to-analog converters, with serial load capabilities, while the AD7805/AD7809 are quad/octal 10-bit digital-to-analog converters with parallel load capabilities.
These parts operate from a +3.3 V to +5 V (±10%) power supply and incorporates an on-chip reference.
These DACs provide output signals in the form of VBIAS ± VSWING.
VSWING is derived internally from VBIAS. On-chip control registers include a system control register and channel control registers.
The system control register has control over all DACs in the package.
The channel control registers allow individual control of DACs.
The complete transfer function of each individual DAC can be shifted around the VBIAS point using an on-chip Sub DAC.
All DACs contain double buffered data inputs, which allow all analog outputs to be simultaneously updated using the asynchronous LDAC input.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This product is SD Digital-To-Analog Converter for digital audio System (CDP). The product contains Serial-to- Parallel Converter and Compensation Filter, Digital Volume Attenuator by the MICOM Interface, De-Emphasis Filter, FIR filter, Sinc Filter, digital sigma-delta modulator, analog postfilter, AIF (Anti-Image-Filter). The normal input and output channels provides 90dB SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) over in band (20kHz).
The product employs the 1bit 4th-order sigma-delta architecture with 16bit resolution, over sampling of 64X. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AD5422 is a low-cost, precision, fully integrated 16-bit converter offering a programmable current source and programmable voltage output designed to meet the requirements of industrial process control applications.
The output current range is programmable to 4mA to 20 mA, 0mA to 20mA or an overrange function of 0mA to 24mA.
Voltage output is provided from a separate pin that can be configured to provide 0V to 5V, 0V to 10V, ±5V or ±10V output ranges, an over-range of 10% is available on all ranges.
Analog outputs are short and open circuit protected and can drive capacitive loads of 1uF and inductive loads of 1H.
The device is specified to operate with a power supply range from 10.8 V to 40 V. Output loop compliance is 0 V to AVDD – 2.5 V.
The flexible serial interface is SPI and MICROWIRE compatible and can be operated in 3-wire mode to minimize the digital isolation required in isolated applications.
The device also includes a power-on-reset function ensuring that the device powers up in a known state and an asynchronous CLEAR pin which sets the outputs to zero-scale / mid-scale voltage output or the low end of the selected current range.
The total output error is typically ±0.1% in current mode and ±0.05% in voltage mode.

DESCRIPTION
The WM8741 is a very high performance stereo DAC designed for audio applications such as professional recording systems, A/V receivers and high specification CD, DVD and home theatre systems. The device supports PCM data input word lengths from 16 to 32-bits and sampling rates up to 192kHz. The WM8741 also supports DSD bitstream data format, in both direct DSD and PCM-converted DSD modes.
The WM8741 includes fine resolution volume and soft mute control, digital de-emphasis and a range of advanced digital filter responses, followed by a digital interpolation filter, multi-bit sigma delta modulator and stereo DAC. Wolfson’s patented architecture optimises the linearity of the DAC and provides maximum insensitivity to clock jitter.
The digital filters include several selectable roll-off and performance characteristics. The user can select between standard sharp or slow roll-off responses. In addition, the WM8741 includes a selection of advanced digital filter characteristics including non-half band filters and minimum phase filters. This flexibility provides a range of benefits, such as significantly reduced pre-ringing and minimal group delay. The internal digital filters can also be by-passed and the WM8741 used with an external digital filter.
The WM8741 supports two connection schemes for audio DAC control. The 2/3 wire serial control interface provides access to all features. A range of features can also be accessed by hardware control interface.
The WM8741 is available in a convenient 28-SSOP package, and is pin compatible with the WM8740.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
 The AD9912 is a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) featuring an integrated 14-bit DAC. The AD9912 features a 48–bit frequency tuning word (FTW) which can synthesize frequencies in step sizes no larger than 4 uHz. Absolute frequency accuracy can be achieved by adjusting the DAC
system clock.

 The AD557 DACPORT® is a complete voltage-output 8-bit digital-to-analog converter, including output amplifier, full microprocessor interface and precision voltage reference on a single monolithic chip. No external components or trims are required to interface, with full accuracy, an 8-bit data bus to an analog system.
 
 The low cost and versatility of the AD557 DACPORT are the result of continued development in monolithic bipolar technologies. The complete microprocessor interface and control logic is implemented with integrated injection logic (I2L), an extremely dense and low-power logic structure that is process-compatible with linear bipolar fabrication. The internal precision voltage reference is the patented low-voltage band-gap circuit which permits full-accuracy performance on a single 5 V power supply.

 Thin-film silicon-chromium resistors provide the stability required for guaranteed monotonic operation over the entire operating temperature range, while laser-wafer trimming of these thin-film resistors permits absolute calibration at the factory to within ± 2.5 LSB; thus, no user-trims for gain or offset are required. A new circuit design provides voltage settling to ±1/2 LSB for a
full-scale step in 800 ns.

 The AD557 is available in two package configurations. The AD557JN is packaged in a 16-lead plastic, 0.3"-wide DIP. For surface mount applications, the AD557JP is packaged in a 20-lead JEDEC-standard PLCC. Both versions are specified over the operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
 1. The 8-bit I2L input register and fully microprocessorcompatible control logic allow the AD557 to be directly connected to 8- or 16-bit data buses and operated with standard control signals. The latch may be disabled for direct DAC interfacing.
 2. The laser-trimmed on-chip SiCr thin-film resistors are calibrated for absolute accuracy and linearity at the factory. Therefore, no user trims are necessary for full rated accuracy over the operating temperature range.
 3. The inclusion of a precision low-voltage band-gap reference eliminates the need to specify and apply a separate reference source.
 4. The AD557 is designed and specified to operate from a single 4.5 V to 5.5 V power supply.
 5. Low digital input currents, 100 µA max, minimize bus loading. Input thresholds are TTL/low voltage CMOS compatible.
 6. The single-chip, low power I2L design of the AD557 is inherently more reliable than hybrid multichip or conventional single-chip bipolar designs.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AD7628 is a monolithic dual 8-bit digital/analog converter featuring excellent DAC-to-DAC matching. It is available in small 0.3" wide 20-pin DIPs and in 20-terminal surface mount packages. Separate on-chip latches are provided for each DAC to allow easy microprocessor interface. Data is transferred into either of the two DAC data latches via a common 8-bit TTL/CMOS compatible input port. Control input DAC A/DAC B determines which DAC is to be loaded. The AD7628’s load cycle is similar to the write cycle of a random access memory, and the device is bus compatible with most 8-bit microprocessors, including 6502, 6809, 8085, Z80. The device operates from a +12 V to +15 V power supply and is TTL-compatible over this range. Power dissipation is a low 20 mW. Both DACs offer excellent four quadrant multiplication characteristics with a separate reference input and feedback resistor for each DAC.
