DESCRIPTION
The 6-PAK™ is a modular system of control and boost SIPs. Each 6A control SIP can also drive up to 8 additional 6A boost SIPs in parallel, for a total of 54A. Each SIP accepts a regulated 5V input (+10%) and provides 2.5V to 3.6Vdc output. The circuit is optimized for high efficiency and fast load transient response needed by telecom, DSP and microprocessor applications.
Advanced thermal design, monolithic power circuitry and synchronous rectification result in outstanding performance and value. With integrated input filter and output capacitors, the 6-PAK system makes a complete power supply which requires no external components over the specified operating range. Pins are staked for wave solderability.

DESCRIPTION
The AIC1660 is a monolithic CMOS switched capacitor voltage converter. Designed to be an improved direct replacement for the popular 7660 and LTC1044, the main function of the AIC1660 is to convert a positive input voltage in the range of 1.5V to 6V to the corresponding negative output voltage in the range of -1.5V to -6V. The input voltage can also be doubled (VOUT = 2VIN ), divided (VOUT = VIN /2 ), or multiplied (VOUT = ±nVIN), as shown in application examples.
The chip contains a series DC power supply regulator, oscillator, control circuitry and four output power MOS switches. The frequency of oscillator can be lowered by the addition of an external capacitor to the OSC pin, or the oscillator may be over-driven by an external clock.
The boost function is available to raise the oscillator frequency to optimize performance in specific applications. The “LV” terminal may be tied to GND to improve low input voltage (VIN £3V) operation, or be left floating for input voltage larger than 3V to improve power dissipation.
The AIC1660 provides performance superior to previous designs by combining low output impedance, low quiescent current with high efficiency, and by eliminating diode drop voltage losses. The only required external components are two low cost electrolytic capacitors.

General Description
The AAT1239-1 is a high frequency, high efficiency constant current boost converter capable of driving up to ten (10) series-connected white LEDs or 40V. It is an ideal power solutions for backlight applications with up to ten white LEDs in series. The input voltage is 2.7V to 5.5V for single-cell lithium-ion/polymer (Li-ion) based portable devices.
The LED current is digitally controlled across a 6x operating range using AnalogicTech’s Simple Serial Control™ (S2Cwire™) interface. Programmability across 26 discrete current steps provides high resolution, low noise, flicker-free, constant LED outputs. In programming AAT1239 operation, LED brightness increases based on the data applied at the EN/SET pin. The SEL logic pin changes the feedback voltage between two programmable ranges.
The AAT1239-1 features a high current limit and fast, stable transitions for stepped or pulsed current applications. The high switching frequency (up to 2MHz) provides fast response and allows the use of ultra-small external components, including chip inductors and capacitors. Fully integrated control circuitry simplifies design and reduces total solution size. The AAT1239-1 offers a true load disconnect feature which isolates the load from the power source while in the OFF or disabled state. This eliminates leakage current, making the devices ideally suited for battery-powered applications.
The AAT1239-1 is available in the Pb-free, thermallyenhanced 12-pin TSOPJW package.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ACT4060 is a current-mode step-down DC/DC converter that generates up to 2A of output current at 420kHz switching frequency. The device utilizes Active-Semi’s proprietary ISOBCD20 process for operation with input voltages up to 20V.
Consuming only 8μA in shutdown mode, the ACT4060 is highly efficient with peak operating efficiency at 95%. Protection features include cycle-bycycle current limit, thermal shutdown, and frequency foldback at short circuit.

Description
The SC4538 is designed to regulate current for a series string of white LEDs in LCD backlighting applications where small size and high effi ciency are priorities. This device integrates an 800kHz current-mode PWM boost converter and a 30mA programmable low dropout current sink regulator.
An external resistor sets the LED current up to 30mA. PWM dimming (100Hz to 50kHz) may be applied directly to the enable (EN) pin, or dimming can be controlled by applying an analog signal to the ISET circuit. The boost circuit can output up to 38V (guaranteed) to drive up to 10 LEDs in series. The current regulator protects against shorts between the BL and OUT pins and also eliminates backlight glow during shutdown when using LEDs with high leakage. Under-voltage lockout and thermal shutdown provide additional protection. A small external capacitor and series resistor control soft-start and loop compensation. Over-voltage detection protects the SC4538 if the BL pin is fl oating or shorted to ground.
The SC4538 is available in an MLPD-8 pin 2mm x 2mm x 0.6mm package, with a rated temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

DESCRIPTION
The ADS1675 is a high-speed, high-precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Using an advanced delta-sigma (ΔΣ) architecture, it operates at speeds up to 4MSPS with outstanding ac performance and dc accuracy.
The ADS1675 ADC is comprised of a low-drift modulator with out-of-range detection and a dual-path programmable digital filter. The dual filter path allows the user to select between two post-processing filters: Low-Latency or Wide-Bandwidth. The Low-Latency filter settles quickly (as fast as 2.65ms) for applications with large instantaneous changes, such as a multiplexer. The Wide-Bandwidth path provides an optimized frequency response for ac measurements with a passband ripple of less than 0.00002dB, stop band attenuation of 115dB, and a bandwidth of 1.7MHz.
The device offers two speed modes with distinct interface, resolution, and feature set. In the
high-speed mode the device can be set to operate at either 4MSPS or 2MSPS. In the low-speed mode, it can be set to operate at either 1MSPS, 500KSPS, 250KSPS or 125KSPS.
The ADS1675 is controlled through I/O pins—there are no registers to program. A dedicated START pin allows for direct control of conversions: toggle the START pin to begin a conversion, and then retrieve the output data. The flexible serial interface supports data readback with either standard CMOS and LVDS logic levels, allowing the ADS1675 to directly connect to a wide range of microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), or field-programmable grid arrays FPGAs).
The ADS1675 operates from an analog supply of 5V and digital supply of 3V, and dissipates 575mW of power. When not in use, the PDWN pin can be used to power down all device circuitry. The device is fully specified over the industrial temperature range and is offered in a TQFP-64 package.

General Description
The ADC16V130 is a monolithic high performance CMOS analog-to-digital converter capable of converting analog input signals into 16-bit digital words at rates up to 130 Mega Samples Per Second (MSPS). This converter uses a differential, pipelined architecture with digital error correction and an onchip sample-and-hold circuit to minimize power consumption and external component count while providing excellent dynamic performance. Automatic power-up calibration enables excellent dynamic performance and reduces part-to-part variation, and the ADC16V130 could be re-calibrated at any time by asserting and then de-asserting power-down. An integrated low noise and stable voltage reference and differential reference buffer amplifier easies board level design. On-chip duty cycle stabilizer with low additive jitter allows wide duty cycle range of input clock without compromising its dynamic performance. A unique sample-and-hold stage yields a fullpower bandwidth of 1.4 GHz. The digital data is provided via full data rate LVDS outputs – making possible the 64-pin, 9mm x 9mm LLP package. The ADC16V130 operates on dual power supplies +1.8V and +3.0V with a power-down feature to reduce the power consumption to very low levels while allowing fast recovery to full operation.
