GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The XRD87L99 is a flexible, easy to use, precision 10-bit analog-to-digital converter with 8-channel mux that operates over a wide range of input and sampling conditions. The XRD87L99 can operate with pulsed "on demand" conversion operation or continuous "pipeline" operation for sampling rates up to 2MHz. The elimination of the S/H requirements, very low power, and small package size offer the designer a low cost solution. No sample and hold is required for CCD applications up to 2MHz, or multiplexed input applications when the signal source bandwidth is limited to 100kHz. The input architecture of the XRD87L99 allows direct interface to any analog input range between AGND and AVDD. The user simply sets VREF(+) and VREF(-) to encompass the desired input range.
Scaled reference resistor taps @ 1/4 R, 1/2 R and 3/4 R allow for customizing the transfer curve as well as providing a 1/2 span reference voltage. Digital outputs are CMOS and TTL compatible.
The XRD87L99 uses a two-step flash technique. The first segment converts the 5 MSBs and consists of autobalanced comparators, latches, an encoder, and buffer storage registers. The second segment converts the remaining 5 LSBs.
When the power down input is "high", the data outputs DB9 to DB0 hold the current values and VREF(-) is disconnected from VREF1(-). The power consumption during the power down mode is 0.1mW.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CAV414 is an universal multipurpose interface for capacitive sensors and contains the complete signal processing unit on chip. The CAV414 detects the relative capacitive change of a measuring capacity to a fixed reference capacity. The IC is optimised for capacities in the wide range of 10pF to 2nF with possible changes of capacity of 5% to 100% of the reference capacity.
The voltage output is formed by a high accuracy instrumentation amplifier in combination with an operational amplifier.
With only a few external components, the CAV414 is suitable for a great variety of applications including a zero compensation.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ACT4070 is a current-mode step-down DC/DC converter that generates up to 3A output current at 400kHz switching frequency. The device utilizes Active-Semi’s proprietary ISOBCD30 process for operation with input voltage up to 30V.
Consuming only 6μA in shutdown mode, the ACT4070 is highly efficient with peak efficiency at 95% when in operation. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown, and frequency fold back at short circuit. The device also includes an internal soft start function to prevent overshoot.
The ACT4070 is available in SOP-8/EP exposed pad package and requires very few external devices for operation.

Description
The ZXLD1322 is an inductive DC-DC converter, with an internal switch, designed for driving single or multiple LEDs in series up to a total of 700mA output current.
Applications cover input voltages ranging from 2.5V to 15V. Depending upon supply voltage and external components, this can provide up to 12W of output power.
The device employs a variable 'on' and 'off' time control scheme with adjustable peak switch current limiting and operates in Buck/Boost mode, offering higher power efficiency and lower system cost than conventional PFM buck/boost circuitry.
The device includes the DC-DC converter, a high-side current monitor and an NPN switching transistor to provide an integrated solution offering small PCB size, competitive cost/performance, high power efficiency of DC-DC conversion and maximum LED brightness/reliability. More importantly, it retains design flexibility to add customer specific features.
The feedback control circuitry inside the ZXLD1322 provides excellent load and current regulation, resulting in very stable LED current over the useful life of the battery and over the full operating temperature range.
The LED current can be adjusted from 100% down to 10% of the set value by applying a dc voltage to the ADJ pin and down to 1% by applying a PWM signal. An on-chip LED protection circuit also allows output current to be reduced linearly above a predetermined threshold temperature using an external thermistor at the TADJ pin.
External resistors set nominal average LED current and coil peak current independently.
The device can be shut down by applying a continuous low level dc voltage to the ADJ pin.

The SC4505 is a high-frequency PWM current-mode stepup switching regulator with an integrated 2A power transistor. Its high switching frequency (1MHz) allows the use of tiny surface-mount external passive components.
