General Description
APE1117 is a low dropout positive adjustable or fixed-mode regulator with minimum of 1A output current capability. The product is specifically designed to provide well-regulated supply for low voltage IC applications such as high-speed bus termination and low current 3.3V logic supply.
APE1117 is also well suited for other applications such as VGA cards. APE1117 is guaranteed to have lower than 1.4V dropout at full load current making it ideal to provide well-regulated outputs of 1.25 to 5.0 with 6.4V to 12V input supply.

DESCRIPTION
The APU1206 family of devices are ultra low dropout 1A regulators using PNP transistor as the pass element. These products are ideal when a single input supply is only available and the dropout voltage is less than 1V, exceeding the minimum dropout characteristics of NPN/PNP hybrid regulators. One common application of these regulators is where input is 3.3V and a 2.5V output is needed.
Besides the low dropout of less than 0.5V, other features of the family of the parts are: micro-power shutdown capability and output UVLO detection where Flag pin is switched low when output is below 5% of its nominal point.

Description
The GM1431 is a three terminal adjustable shunt regulator with thermal stability guaranteed over temperature. Output voltage can be adjusted to any value between 2.5V (Vref) and 36V by using two external resistors. The GM1431 has a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2W. Active output circuitry provides a very unique turn on characteristic, making the GM1431 an excellent tum on replacement for zener diodes in many applications such as onboard regulation and adjustable power supplies. The GM1431 is an ideal voltage reference for 3.0 to 3.3V switching power supplies.

General Description
The LM20242 is a full featured 1MHz capable synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 2A of load current.
The current mode control loop is externally compensated with only two external components, offering both high performance and ease of use. The device is optimized to work over the input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V making it well suited for high voltage systems.
The device features internal Over Voltage Protection (OVP) and Over Current Protection (OCP) circuits for increased system reliability. A precision Enable pin and integrated UVLO allows the turn on of the device to be tightly controlled and sequenced. Startup inrush currents are limited by both an internally fixed and externally adjustable soft-start circuit. Fault detection and supply sequencing are possible with the integrated PGOOD circuit.
The LM20242 is designed to work well in multi-rail power supply architectures. The output voltage of the device can be configured to track a higher voltage rail using the SS/TRK pin. If the output of the LM20242 is pre-biased at startup it will not sink current to pull the output low until the internal soft-start ramp exceeds the voltage at the feedback pin.
The LM20242 is offered in an exposed pad 20 pin TSSOP package that can be soldered to the PCB, eliminating the need for bulky heatsinks.

General Description
The LM20145 is a full featured adjustable frequency synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 5A of continuous output current. The current mode control loop can be compensated to be stable with virtually any type of output capacitor. For most cases, compensating the device only requires two external components, providing maximum flexibility and ease of use. The device is optimized to work over the input voltage range of 2.95V to 5.5V making it suited for a wide variety of low voltage systems.
The device features internal over voltage protection (OVP) and over current protection (OCP) circuits for increased system reliability. Functional Description
Introduction
The APE1085 adjustable Low Dropout (LDO) regulator is a 3 terminal device that can easily be programmed with the addition of two external resistors to any voltages within the range of 1.25V to Vin-1.4V. The APE1085 only needs 1.4V differential between Vin and Vout to maintain output regulation. In addition, the output voltage tolerances are also extremely tight and they include the transient response as part of the specification. For example, Intel VRE specification calls for a total of +/- 100mV including initial tolerance, load regulation and 0 to 3.0A load step.

The LM317 is an adjustable three-terminal positive-voltage regulator capable of supplying more than 1.5 A over an output-voltage range of 1.2 V to 37 V. It is exceptionally easy to use and requires only two external resistors to set the output voltage. Furthermore, both line and load regulation are better than standard fixed regulators. The LM317 is packaged in the KC (TO-220AB) and KTE packages, which are easy to handle and use.
In addition to having higher performance than fixed regulators, this device includes on-chip current limiting, thermal overload protection, and safe-operating-area protection. All overload
protection remains fully functional, even if the ADJUST terminal is disconnected.
The LM317 is versatile in its applications, including uses in programmable output regulation
and local on-card regulation. Or, by connecting a fixed resistor between the ADJUST and OUTPUT terminals, the LM317 can function as a precision current regulator. An optional output capacitor can be added to improve transient response.
The ADJUST terminal can be bypassed to achieve very high ripple-rejection ratios, which are difficult to achieve with standard three-terminal regulators.
The LM317 is characterized for operation over the virtual junction temperature range of 0°C to
125°C.
