Functional Description
The PMB2201 is a modulator and mixer circuit with high integration level. It includes a direct quadrature modulator and a double balanced Gilbert cell mixer with according bias circuitry.
The up/down conversion mixer combines two external signals at the RF and IF inputs. The IF input is suited for the lower frequency signal because of its linear transfer function to the mixer output. The higher frequency signal is fed to the RF input to switch the Gilbert cell mixer. In a typical application the wanted mixer output product is bandpass filtered and then fed to the modulator LO input. The mixer may also be used to convert the modulator output signal from E/EX via the IF/IFX input by mixing with a local oscillator signal RF/RFX to higher frequencies up to 2.5 GHz.
The modulator generates two orthogonal carriers which are mixed with the baseband modulation signals A and B in Gilbert multipliers. The outputs of the Gilbert cells are added and amplified by a linear output stage. The modulated signal is available at the open collector output E,EX. The voltage TREF can be used for DC biasing of the modulation inputs A, AX, B, BX externally.
The modulator and the mixer have separate power supplies and grounds. They can be powered down independently. Due to the power down concept the modulator can be used without or in conjunction with the up/down conversion mixer part.
For applications in the frequency range from 1.4GHz to 2.5GHz the derivative PMB2202
is offered.

DESCRIPTION
The HDSP2110S (Red), HDSP2111S (Yellow), HDSP2112S (High Efficiency Red), HDSP2113S (Green), HDSP2114S (High Efficiency Green), and HDSP2115S (Soft Orange) are eight digit, 5x7 dot matrix, alphanumeric Intelligent Display devices. The 0.20 inch high digits are packaged in a rugged, high quality, optically transparent, 0.6 inch lead spacing, 28 pin plastic DIP.
The on-board CMOS has a built-in 128 character ROM. The HDSP211XS also has a user definable character (UDC) feature, which uses a RAM that permits storage of 16 arbitrary characters, symbols or icons that are software-definable by the user. The character ROM itself is mask programmable and easily modified by the manufacturer to provide specified custom characters.
The HDSP211XS is designed for standard microprocessor interface techniques, and is fully TTL compatible. The Clock I/O and Clock Select pins allow the user to cascade multiple display modules.

Description
The SAE 81C52 is a CMOS-silicon gate, static random access memory (RAM), organized as 256 words by 8 bits. The multiplexed address and data bus interfaces directly to 8-bit microprocessors/microcontrollers without any timing or level problems, e.g. the families SAB 8086, SAB 8051.
All inputs and outputs are fully compatible with NMOS circuits, except CS1. Data retention is ensured up to VDD ³ 1.0 V. The SAE 81C52 has three different inputs for two chip select modes which allow to inhibit either the address/data lines (AD 0 … AD 7) and the control lines (WR, RD, ALE, CS2, CS3), or only the control lines RD, WR.
The power consumption is max. 5.5 mW in standby mode and max. 16.5 mW in operation. In standby mode, the power consumption will not increase if the control inputs are on undefined potential.

The IOM-2 – SICOFI-2 is a fully integrated PCM codec and filter fabricated in low power 1 mm CMOS technology for applications in digital communication systems. Based on an advanced digital filter concept, the PEB 2265 provides excellent transmission performance and high flexibility. The new filter concept (second generation) lends to a maximum of independence between the different filter blocks.
