The PI3V341 is a true bi-directional 3-Port 4:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer with Hi-Z outputs that is recommended for both RGB and composite video switching applications. With the increased 4:1 channels, multiple components, such as VCR, DVD, PC1, PC2 and etc. can be put on the video networks. The VideoSwitch can be driven from a current output RAMDAC or voltage output composite video source.
Low On-Resistance, Low Crosstalk, Low OFF Isolation and wide bandwidth features make it ideal for video and other applications. Industry leading advantages include a near zero propagation delay, resulting from its low channel resistance and I/O capacitance. PS4530/PS4531/PS4532 are low voltage CMOS analog ICs configured as an 8-channel multiplexer (mux) (PS4530), two 4-channel muxes (PS4531), and three single-pole/double-throw switches (PS4532). These devices are pin compatible with the industry standard 74H4351/74HC4352/74HC4353. All devices have two complementary switch-enable inputs and address latching.
The PS4530/PS4531/PS4532 operate from a single supply of +2V to +12V, or from dual supplies of ±2V to ±6V. On-resistance (150Ohm max.) is matched between switches to 8Ohm max. Each switch can handle rail-to-rail analog signals. Off-leakage current is only 1nA at TA = +25°C and 50nA at TA = +85oC.

The PI90SD1636C is a single chip, Gigabit Ethernet transceiver. It performs all the functions of the Physical Medium Attachment (PMA) portion of the Physical layer, as specifi ed by the IEEE
802.3z Gigabit Ethernet standard. These functions include parallelto-serial and serial-to-parallel conversion, clock gen er a tion, clock data re cov ery, and word synchronization. In addition, an internal loopback function is provided for system debugging.
The PI90SD1636C is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet, serial backplane and proprietary point-to-point applications. The device supports 1000BASE-LX and 1000BASE-SX fi ber-optic media, and 1000BASE-CX copper media.
The transmitter section of the PI90SD1636C accepts 10-bit wide parallel TTL data and converts it to a high speed serial data stream. The parallel data is encoded in 8b/10b format. This incoming parallel data is latched into an input register, and synchronized on the rising edge of the 125 MHz reference clock supplied by the user. A phase locked loop (PLL) locks to the 125 MHz clock. The clock is then multiplied by 10 to produce a 1.25 GHz serial clock that is used to provide the high speed serial data output. The output is sent through a Pseudo Emitter Coupled Logic (PECL) driver. This output connects directly to a copper cable in the case of 1000BASE-CX medium, or to a fi ber optic module in the case of 1000BASE-LX or 1000BASE SX fi ber optic medium.
The receiver section of the PI90SD1636C accepts a serial PECLcom pat i ble data stream at a 1.25 Gbps rate, recovers the original 10-bit wide parallel data format, and retimes the data. A PLL locks onto the incoming serial data stream, and recovers the 1.25 GHz high speed serial clock and data. This is accomplished by contin u al ly frequency locking onto the 125 MHz reference clock, and by phase locking onto the incoming data stream. The serial data is converted back to parallel data format. The ‘comma’ character is used to establish byte alignment. Two 62.5 MHz clocks, 180 degrees out of phase, are recovered. These clocks are alternately used to clock out the parallel data on the rising edge. This parallel data is sent to the user in TTL-compatible form.

The PI6C3421A is a Spread Spectrum Clock Synthesizer and part of the Pericom SSCG product family. The part generates one high precision 27.000 MHz spread spectrum clock output from a single clock source or a crystal and one 27.000 MHz un-modulated clock output, and is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) by spreading the clock.
This reduction in EMI can result in signifi cant system cost saving and less design complexity by reducing the number of circuit board layers ferrite beads and shielding. In the absence of a spread spectrum clock, other EMI-reducing components are required in order to comply with regulatory agency requirements.
The spreading ratio is selectable using the selection pins. The PI6C3421A provides -0.25%, -0.5%, -0.75% and -1.0% spread modulation through external logic stage setting. The variety and the reduced size of the package outlines can save precious board space and make layout easier.

Pericom Semiconductor’s PI3HDMI series of switch circuits are targeted for high-resolution video networks that are based on DVI/HDMI standards, and TMDS signal processing. The
PI3HDMI412FT-B is an 8- to 4-Channel Mux/DeMux Switch. The device multiplexes differential signals to one of two corresponding outputs. The switch is bidirectional and offers little or no attenuation of the high-speed signals at the outputs. It is designed for low bit-to-bit skew and high channel-to-channel noise isolation.
The allowable data rate of 5.0Gbps provides the resolution required by the next generation HDTV and PC graphics. Three differential channels are used for data (video signals for DVI or audio/video signals for HDMI), and one differential channel is used for Clock for decoding the TMDS signals at the outputs.
Due to its integrated pull-up resistors, the product has been designed specifi cally for applications where the part is used as a 2 to 1 mux, not 1 to 2 demux. Therefore, Pericom only recommends the part to be used as a 2 to 1 mux when dealing with HDMI signals. Even though the passive circuitry does not eliminate the bi-directional functionality, it is not ideal when used with HDMI signals. If DVI are used, either direction can be used.

The PI6C3503 is a Low Power Frequency Multiplier with Spread Spectrum function to reduce EMI interference. The PI6C3503 provides a 1 time Spread Spectrum modulated output from a single clock source or a crystal. Pericom Semiconductor's PI3A212S is a dual high-bandwidth, fast single-pole double throw (SPDT) CMOS switch.
It can be used as an analog switch or as a low-delay bus switch.
Specified over a wide operating power supply voltage, 2.7V to 4.2V, the PI3A212S has a low On-Resistance of 0.6Ω @ 2.7V.
Break-before-make switching prevents both switches being enabled simultaneously.
This eliminates signal disruption during switching.
The PI3A212S shunt switches connected to ground in order to dissipate capacitance that builds up on the unconnected NC or NO line.

PI6C20800S is a PCI Express, high-speed, low-noise differential clock buffer designed to be a companion to PI6C410BS PCIExpress clock generator for Intel server chipsets.
