The 33887 is a monolithic H-Bridge Power IC with a load current feedback feature making it ideal for closed-loop DC motor control. The IC incorporates internal control logic, charge pump, gate drive, and low RDS(ON) MOSFET output circuitry. The 33887 is able to control inductive loads with continuous DC load currents up to 5.0 A, and with peak current active limiting between 5.2 A and 7.8 A. Output loads can be pulse width modulated (PWM-ed) at frequencies up to 10 kHz. The load current feedback feature provides a proportional (1/375th of the load current) constant-current output suitable for monitoring by a microcontroller’s A/D input. This feature facilitates the design of closed-loop torque/speed control as well as open load detection.

A Fault Status output pin reports undervoltage, short circuit, and overtemperature conditions. Two independent inputs provide polarity control of two half-bridge totem-pole outputs. Two disable inputs force the H-Bridge outputs to tri-state (exhibit high impedance).
The 33887 is parametrically specified over a temperature range of 40°C ≤ TA ≤ 125°C and a voltage range of 5.0 V ≤ V+ ≤ 28 V. Operation with voltages up to 40 V with derating of the specifications.

General Description
1.1 Introduction
The MC68HC05P4A is a 28-pin MCU (microcontroller unit) based on the MC68HC05P4. The memory map includes 4160 bytes of user ROM and 176 bytes of RAM. The MCU has two 8-bit input/output (I/O) ports, A and C. Port B has three I/O pins and port D has two pins, one that is I/O and the other input only.
 The MC68HC05P4A includes a simple serial I/O peripheral (SIOP) and an on-chip mask programmable computer operating properly (COP) watchdog circuit.

 The 33999 is a 16-output low-side switch with a 24-bit serial input control. It is designed for a variety of applications including inductive, incandescent, and LED loads. The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) provides both input control and diagnostic readout. Eight parallel inputs are also provided for direct Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control of eight dedicated outputs. Additionally, an output-programmable PWM input provides PWM of any combination of outputs.

 A dedicated reset input provides the ability to clear all internal registers and turn all outputs off. The 33999 directly interfaces with microcontrollers and is compatible with both 3.3 V and 5.0 V CMOS logic levels.  The 33580 is one in a family of devices designed for low-voltage automotive and industrial lighting and motor control applications. Its four low RDS(ON) MOSFETs (four 15 mΩ) can control the high sides of four separate resistive or inductive loads. Programming, control, and diagnostics are accomplished using a 16-bit SPI interface. Additionally, each output has its own parallel input for pulse-width modulation (PWM) control if desired.
 The 33580 allows the user to program via the SPI the fault current trip levels and duration of acceptable lamp inrush or motor stall intervals. Such programmability allows tight control of fault currents and can protect wiring harnesses and circuit boards as well as loads.
