DESCRIPTION
MB85RS256 is a FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) chip in a configuration of 32,768 words × 8 bits, using the ferroelectric process and silicon gate CMOS process technologies for forming the nonvolatile memory cells.
MB85RS256 adopts the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).
The MB85RS256 is able to retain data without using a back-up battery, as is needed for SRAM.
The memory cells used in the MB85RS256 can be used for 1010 read/write operations, which is a significant improvement over the number of read and write operations supported by Flash memory and E2PROM. MB85RS256 does not take long time to write data unlike Flash memories nor E2PROM, and MB85RS256 takes no wait time.

Description
The MPL115A1 is an absolute pressure sensor with digital output for low cost applications. A miniature 5 x 3 x 1.2 mm LGA package ideally suits it for portable electronics and space constrained applications. Low current consumptions of 5 μA during Active mode and 1 μA during Shutdown (Sleep) mode target battery and other low-power applications. A wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C fits demanding environmental requirements.
MPL115A1 employs a MEMS pressure sensor with a conditioning IC to provide accurate pressure measurement from 50 to 115 kPa. An integrated ADC provides digitized temperature and pressure sensor outputs via a SPI port. Calibration Data is stored in internal ROM. Utilizing raw sensor output, the host microcontroller executes a compensation algorithm to render Compensated Absolute Pressure with 1 kPa accuracy.

Description
The SG1577A is a high-efficiency, voltage-mode, dualchannel, synchronous DC/DC PWM controller for two independent outputs. The two channels are operated out of phase. The internal reference voltage is trimmed to 0.7V±1.5%. It is connected to the error amplifier’s positive terminal for voltage feedback regulation.
The soft-start circuit ensures the output voltage can be gradually and smoothly increased from zero to its final regulated value. The soft-start pin can also be used for chip-enable function. When two soft-start pins are grounded, the chip is disabled and the total operation current can be reduced to under 0.7mA.
The fixed-frequency is programmable from 60kHz to 340kHz. The Over-Current Protection (OCP) level can be programmed by an external current sense resistor. It has two integrated sets of internal MOSFET drivers.
SG1577A is available in a 20-pin SOP package.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The XR-2206 is a monolithic function generator integrated circuit capable of producing high quality sine, square, triangle, ramp, and pulse waveforms of high-stability and accuracy. The output waveforms can be both amplitude and frequency modulated by an external voltage. Frequency of operation can be selected externally over a range of 0.01Hz to more than 1MHz.
The circuit is ideally suited for communications, instrumentation, and function generator applications requiring sinusoidal tone, AM, FM, or FSK generation. It has a typical drift specification of 20ppm/°C. The oscillator frequency can be linearly swept over a 2000:1 frequency range with an external control voltage, while maintaining low distortion.

Description
The EP3102 is a monolithic integrated circuit that provide all the active functions for a step-down switching regulator, capable of driving a 2A load without additional transistor component. Requiring a minimum number of external component, the board space can be saved easily. The external shutdown function can be controlled by TTL logic level and then come into standby mode. The internal compensation makes feedback control have good line and load regulation without external design. Regarding protected function, thermal shutdown is to prevent over temperature operating from damage, and current limit is against over current operating of the output switch. The EP3102 operates at a switching frequency of 150KHz thus allowing smaller sized filter components than what would be needed with lower frequency switching regulators. Other features include a guaranteed +4% tolerance on output voltage under specified input voltage and output load conditions, and +15% on the oscillator frequency. The output version included fixed 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and an adjustable type. The package is available in a standard 8-lead SOP8.

General Description
The AP3154 is a high efficiency charge-pump white LED driver with 1x, 1.5x, 2x operating modes. The AP3154 operates on power supplies from 2.7v to 5.5v. It drives up to four channels of white LEDs while the intensity of each channel is configured by varying the respective current levels. Each channel can supply up to 30mA current. Up to four channels can be ganged together to provide maximum load current of 120mA.
The Serial Digital Interface (SDI) provides the capability to configure the current for each LED channel. Some other key features, such as Up Spread Spectrum Control, different charge-pump switching frequencies (0.6MHz/1.2MHz/1.8MHz), and PWM dimming control, can also be programmed through the interface.
The AP3154 has a built-in soft-start circuit to minimize the inrush current during power-up and mode switching. Various protections such as short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, and thermal shutdown are integrated to ensure system reliability. The quiescent current of AP3154 during shutdown is less than 6μA.

DESCRIPTION
The DS1315 Phantom Time Chip is a combination of a CMOS timekeeper and a nonvolatile memory controller. In the absence of power, an external battery maintain the timekeeping operation and provides power for a CMOS static RAM. The watch keeps track of hundredths of seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. The last day of the month is automatically adjusted for months with less than 31 days, including leap year correction. The watch operates in one of two formats: a 12-hour mode with an AM/PM indicator or a 24-hour mode. The nonvolatile controller supplies all the necessary support circuitry to convert a CMOS RAM to a nonvolatile memory. The DS1315 can be interfaced with either RAM or ROM without leaving gaps in memory.

Functional Description
The Cypress STK15C88 is a 256Kb fast static RAM with a nonvolatile element in each memory cell. The embedded nonvolatile elements incorporate QuantumTrap™ technology producing the world’s most reliable nonvolatile memory. The SRAM provides unlimited read and write cycles, while independent, nonvolatile data resides in the highly reliable QuantumTrap cell. Data transfers from the SRAM to the nonvolatile elements (the STORE operation) takes place automatically at power down. On power up, data is restored to the SRAM (the RECALL operation) from the nonvolatile memory. Both the STORE and RECALL operations are also available under software control.
